Jamal is a native of Goldsboro N.C. Jamal has been blessed to have been in this field for over 20  years, first learning the manufacturing process of eyewear, then learning the consultant side of the eyewear business. Jamal has devoted himself to the town of Mount Olive by going to retirement homes, health fairs etc., all for the goal of serving the community. In 2009, Jamal met his wife to be, Dr. Jo'Ann Todd. Together they purchased the existing optometry office in 2013 and have been a fixture in Mount Olive ever since. Jamal and Dr. Todd also Pastor a church together, Zion Church, also in Mount Olive.
